What People Are Saying

Lizabeth is a Master @ Middle School momming. She has spent years in the education field particularly at the middle school level working directly with teens and also has been a middle school mom herself and HAS that first hand experience. What I love about Lizabeth is she really has been able to create that “handbook” that we ALL wish our child came with at birth!!! She KNOWS and understands this stage for you, the mom, & your teen. What I love about her MOST as a mentor is she creates the community & consistency through her coaching that allows you to lean into these most challenging years of parenting and do it MASTERFULLY & actually ENJOY it and be able to look back at it and say those were the most rewarding years with my child instead of the all too COMMON reflection of, “I’m so glad those years are over. I am so happy we survived,” or ”I would not wish those years on my worst enemy” TRUE OR TRUE?! So instead of feeling isolated, lost, and helpless. Hire Lizabeth and immediately feel supported, directed and EMPOWERED!

Lizabeth has 20 years of being a teacher and has experienced first-hand all of the incorrect ways to teach a child. Through this and her own experience of raising a child, she has developed a loving, supportive method that will assist in shifting you into becoming a competent and successful parent in coping with your child’s school…and life in general.

Lizabeth Jenkins-Dale, guiding our children through school life can be a confusing and overwhelming task at times – I love the way you teach us to guide and partner our children and teachers for the joyful result of happy confident and respectful kiddos – love your work, gorgeous xxx.

As a mother of 3 children all with different personalities and different ages – 19, 17, AND 11 – I have lived through the pressures my first two children had to face as pre-teens, teenagers, and moving onto becoming young, independent people. Without guidance from a mentor, who not only worked in the school system and saw firsthand how difficult all these different transitions can be for our children, and with all the different ways our children have access to each other in addition to school, we, as parents, have to have the tools to not only help us be better parents, but also help our teens and children to handle all the different changes they will go through in these pivotal points in their lives. Lizabeth, has an amazing understanding of this and the tools we parents need to help ourselves and our children. She is understanding and never judgmental when it comes to knowing where parents and people are in the journey of parenthood. She knows the needs and fears of our children as she was someone on the front lines seeing what our children go through each and every day. Lizabeth, what you know and how you help to change lives is for both parents and children and is so priceless and so powerful. Thanks you for all that you do and all the help and support you give each and every day. You are amazing!

I just want to say how grateful I am for you….You write great articles on child-rearing, and just watching the relationship between you and your daughter shows me you really know what you’re talking about.

I have known Lizabeth over 10 years. In that time, I have seen her daughter grow from an elementary student to a beautiful, confident college woman. Lizabeth is very close to her daughter. Whenever I am around them, I can see their relationship is unique and inspiring. Lizabeth guides her daughter into making decisions for herself by being an amazing example for her, and as a result she is respectful to those around her and is easy to communicate with. Lizabeth takes great interest in her daughter’s life by offering advice when needed and supporting her decisions. In so doing, her daughter is now a strong young woman with inspirational goals that she is well on her way to achieving.

As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Lizabeth has a shining example of the proof in her lovely daughter. As the vocal teacher, I taught her daughter through the critical stages of childhood into the teenage years. Lizabeth was present at every lesson, and I knew I not only had an enthusiastic and talented student, but a very supportive mother. I am so happy to see her daughter has continued to grow and is now a daughter any a mother would be proud of. I am thrilled that Lizabeth has written books on raising a child through the teenage years especially now in the difficult age we live in..inspiration to every family seeking helpful advice.

A wise and informative book. As I read the book my heart was touched by Lizabeth’s sincerity to share her experience as both a parent and teacher of the middle school years to stay focused on positive outcomes. This book is to be read carefully as a guide for planning events, activities, budgets, schedules and contacts. Most importantly it invites and offers us inspiration and encouragement to be appreciative of the opportunity to become co-creators of solutions with this middle school aged youth. A powerful challenge to support our teens during the time of their rapid growth of self-identity and self-esteem.

Lizabeth Jenkins-Dale has written an amazing book called, “Middle School Years Without the Tears.” She has insight that is going to be worth its weight in gold if you have someone that falls in this age group. She also talks about my book, ‘Powerfirmations’ and the value of positive, powerful affirmations. I’m honored and pleased to be recommending this awesome book.

I found this book easy to read and very enjoyable. My kids are not in Middle School yet, however, I found the information and insights from this book to be extremely helpful. I will be placing this with my other reference materials and return to it for insight when needed.

I believe this book should be a must read for parents of children about to enter these critical years of development. We have ordered copies for our children to help our grandchildren.

My own children are grown, my classroom teaching is behind me, but my life is still involved in working with all ages of children in my performing company. Ms. Jenkins-Dale gives excellent, poignant advice that I found inspiring and moving. She is to be commended for this first book. It is definitely a read for all parents and those who are still connected with “the middle school age” child. I can’t wait to read her next book. Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us. Best of luck!

With daughters of my own in middle school, I think this book was helpful to me and my wife. There are some things I will think about now that maybe I did not previously. Thanks for the book.

It may as the title says get you through the middle school without tears but you may need a tissue at times when you read it. Bravo to the author Lizabeth Jenkins-Dale! We look forward to your next book.

This book is the first published by Ms. Jenkins-Dale, and is a fabulous start. The wisdom, humor, and experience she shows throughout the book make it an enjoyable and helpful read. The book is well designed and has a natural flow for the reader. If you have a child in middle school, just starting, or know someone who has a middle schooler, Ms. Jenkins-Dale’s book filled with insight would be a wonderful parent’s guide.
